I must absolutely confess that I’m obessed over finding the perfect printed pant. I don’t know why really – I’m going to end up spending $50 to $60 on something I’ll probably wear for six months before realizing, like Homer Simpson’s blue pants, they are completely ridiculous. (For the record, I thought Homer Simpson’s blue pants were horrendous for the first 20 years of my life. And then I realized that they were probably jeans because, you know, denim is blue.)
I’ve decided that I want them to be low slung and definitely NOT high waisted. While the high-waisted trend is all good and great, I’m concerned that even a little bit of extra printed fabric is going to completely overwhelm whatever I wear on top. And trust me, I plan on wearing ridiculous, contrasting patterns on top.
In addition, they need to be skinny. I have this suspiscious feeling this skinny pant trend is going to be done in a second and I’ll be ogling wide-leg whatevers, but honestly, right now, nothing looks as good as a skinny cut on a pair of pants (yeah, NOTHING). So, I’m going all in here. Make my pants skinny, print-y, and low slung. Damn I’m so upset I don’t already have a pair to Instagram (On a serious note: I may or may not have a problem).
My favorite pair (Do NOT buy these. I will not be held responsible for my actions if I walk in anywhere and see someone else in these pants):
Asos (Duh). Click on the photo for the website
Other options (yes. These you can purchase):

Ahhh I love the first Asos pair! I am in the market for some printed pants too, and this article summed it up perfectly! Don’t worry though, I live in Chicago so we probably won’t walk in the same place with them on
