At BG, we’ve been working hard to create a publication that highlights Brown Girls from all backgrounds, with a variety of dreams and aspirations. Each photoshoot hopes to showcase a Brown Girl who epitomizes smart, hip, and beautiful. This October is our 4 year anniversary and we are so proud of how much the publication has grown – yet there is so much left to do!
For our special anniversary, we decided to showcase not just one wonderful Brown Girl, but 3! Meet Hafsa, Rucha, and Manesha! Each of these girls represents a different geographical area and has their very own personality. They represent young South Asian women just like you. Over the course of the month, we hope you enjoy getting to know them!
