Our mantra at Brown Girl is “written for you, by girls just like you”.  Our staff is made of girls (and a few guys) who have experienced or are currently experiencing the joys and trials of being an South Asian American. In order to continue to improve our publication, we are always looking for new writers, contributors, and artists.

Additionally, we’re looking for volunteer writers more to build Brown Girl into a successful young women’s magazine. Brown Girl will be a great way to get published and gain experience in magazine journalism. If you are interested, please contact us today!
