Aneela Idnani

Aneela is a first generation South Asian American, author, TEDx speaker, and a Minneapolis St. Paul Business Journal "40 Under 40" leader. Having grown up hiding her hair pulling disorder (trichotillomania), Aneela is now an outspoken mental health advocate, raising awareness of these very common yet unknown conditions. She is Co-Founder of Minneapolis-based HabitAware, a mental health tech startup and TIME Magazine Best Invention. HabitAware holds SBIR research grants from the National Institutes of Health and the National Science Foundation. Aneela is a native New Yorker who proudly calls Minneapolis home with her husband, Sameer, and two young kids.
