Nandita Godbole

Nandita is an Indian origin, Atlanta-based proudly indie author, food writer, consultant and podcaster. She is as much a proponent of classic Indian cuisine and old-fashioned recipes, as she is an observer and critic of its culture and legacy for future generations. She will not hesitate to point out the lack of epithets to chai or the sacrilege of using curry powder to make a dish 'Indian,' and her IG and Twitter accounts are peppered with the use of the hashtag #nocurrypowder for good reason. Her next book, "Seven Pots of Tea: an Ayurvedic approach to teas and tisanes" expands the vocabulary around Indian tea, because there is so much more to Indian teas than chai.
