Shalini Tuscano

Shalini is a Canadian born Maharashtrian. A bohemian and warrior from the womb! An unapologetic, constant work in progress. A student of life, for life. A prankster who is passionate about social justice and women's rights, and serves as a mental health advocate. Life's struggles and challenges (domestic abuse, sexual assault, suicide loss) led her to empower herself and others through volunteering, activism, fundraising and simply being a support and voice for loved ones, starting with her mother. A Youth Mentor at Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Greater Montreal, Coordinator/Counselor at the WIN Home (Women’s) Shelter in Mumbai run by the nuns of the Queen of Apostles Order and fundraiser for the American Foundation For Suicide Prevention...all these, just a few of her efforts to make the world a better place!
