Syeda Tasmia Tahia is a writer, poet and theatre performer. Some of her playwriting credits include "Nemesis 2: The Gamechanger," "Hostile Environment," and "Daal-Bhaat: Us Two Bengali Girls." She is a member of the Romantic Novelist Association and a young trustee for Sadlers Wells Theatre. Tasmia is a legacy youth board member for Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and was named as a young leader in the United Kingdom by the U.S. Embassy. She is currently working to publish her first novel, a YA political thriller about privilege and activism. In her professional life, she is a civil servant.
