Alyssa is a law student at New England Law | Boston. She has a bachelor's in Criminal Justice from Marist College. Born into a Trinidadian family and living in upstate New York, Alyssa was no stranger to imposter syndrome. Through her writing, she has strived to promote diversity in the legal field by bringing to light the gaps between getting a legal education and coming from a West Indian home.
