Ankita Mishra, aka SPRNG VLVT (she/they) is a queer, first generation Indian-American interdisciplinary artist and musician. Ankita is a strong supporter of the anti-caste movement and proudly strives to combat racism, casteism, sexism, ableism, homophobia, transphobia, ageism, elitism and xenophobia through her work in museums and non-profits. Currently, they are working on an interview- based podcast called "Unskilled", which highlights the successes of creative professionals that have foregone traditional education– they believe this is especially important to celebrate within their own cultural background. When resting, you can find this Pisces rising/Libra sun/Cancer moon taking long, jasmine-scented baths in their Brooklyn apartment. Their debut single “Falling”, is out now on all platforms.
