Maisha Prome was born in Dhaka, Bangladesh and has moved back and forth between Bangladesh and the U.S. throughout her life. Maisha loves all things creative and rediscovered poetry at MIT where she studied biological engineering. She is currently a PhD student in biological sciences at Yale University.
