Marion Ruybalid is a mother of nine mixed-race children (4 girls and 5 boys). At five months old, she was adopted from Dhaka, Bangladesh by British parents and raised in the United States. She has an MFA in creative writing from UCR Palm Desert. Her work has appeared in Mutha, PANK, Portrait of an AdoptionChicagoNow, BLUNTmoms, and The Manifestation. She also wrote a column called Traces of Lineage for Raising Mothers.
