Rina Vaishnav Rhyne was born and raised in a small town in Maryland in a Gujarati household. She holds a Masters in Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is currently the Executive Director of a non-profit for children in Maryland. Rina’s professional and volunteer efforts have included work with survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault and she has participated in various projects aimed at empowering youth.
When not trying to make the world a better place, Rina is traveling the globe with her husband and daughter, cracking a joke, cracking a book, and trying to satisfy the tiny Indian aunty living inside of her by feeding others too much.
