Sarita Panchang

Sarita Panchang, Ph.D., studies intersections between health, access to resources, and equitable infrastructure planning, both in the United States and internationally. Her passion for health justice was built by watching, doing, and learning from community health organizations serving people in Houston, TX, Boston, MA, rural and urban India, and Brazil. Currently she conducts evaluation research on health and social service programs as a Research Associate at Louisiana State University. In her spare time Sarita loves singing and dancing, reading, tinkering with recipes, and looking for secret Southern fusion restaurants hiding in gas stations along the Gulf Coast.
