Shabnam Mirza is an American-Bangladeshi born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. She launched PureCloth Solutions in 2015 and has been working with her family-owned, vertically integrated knit factories in Bangladesh to bring their product to American brands. Shabnam works with mindful brands whose philosophy includes sourcing from socially responsible and sustainable manufacturers. She believes in transparency and having accountability to her partner brands. Her family has built the most compliant and highly-regarded factories in Bangladesh. She works from her office in Chelsea and travels three times a year to the factories to work on new programs and oversee the production of her products. Shabnam lives in Manhattan with her husband and three children.
