Subha Hanif is a current medical student at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. She was raised in a traditional Bangladeshi household by two parents that instilled in her the power of hard work, integrity and giving back to the community. Subha has worked for various causes during the course of her education including minority mental health awareness, access to health care especially for women and children, and community advocacy and activism. She plans to follow her passion and begin her career in health policy administration to help mitigate the health care disparities that exist today for minority populations, especially the Bangladeshi-American community. When she isn't studying intensely for med school or talking about new community projects, she can be found traveling the world, updating her iTunes playlist with the latest R&B and hip/hop, or learning how to be the world's best coffee connoisseur.
