Suhana K. R. (she/her) is a poet and writer of Indo-Caribbean heritage, based in the Greater Toronto Area. Her poetry explores Indo-Caribbean culture, Hinduism, history as well as feminism and gender-based issues. She uses writing as a means to preserve her heritage, while shedding light on the experiences of women. Suhana hopes to represent and empower her community, through poetry.
