The reigning queen of the beauty world, Huda Kattan, started her journey as a beauty blogger. She’s one of the most sought out beauty influencers not only in the Middle East but globally.
We all are familiar with the Huda Beauty brand. This name was the first to revolutionize the lash world — literally making falsies a thing and a staple in almost every girl’s makeup look. Kattan has taken the beauty world by storm by coming out with products that have been selling out for months on end. Even with such an extreme popularity and sold out products in every medium possible, Huda Beauty took in all the criticism that came its way regarding their first ever eyeshadow palette, the “3D Rose Gold Palette.” The company relaunched it with a complete 360 degree revamp of the formula and shadow choices; the new version is called “Rose Gold Palette Remastered.”
To say I am impressed by Kattan and her team in handling this situation would be an understatement. They carefully internalized the constructive criticism that was thrown their way and created a brand new product. It’s rare to come across a brand who would do that or has done that in the past. I mean I’ve yet to come across a story like this one. But this is just a testament to how important customers are to the Huda Beauty brand. They want to be a value-driven company and win the confidence of their customers.
The 3D textured shadows, which differentiated the palette from others within the overly saturated beauty market, have completely been scratched. They have been replaced with “Melted Metals” instead, carrying some old names like “Trust Fund,” “2K,” and “Dubai.” The matte shadows have also received a strict scrutiny making them much more pigmented and buttery. You will see a lot of familiar colors from the original palette, such as “Henna,” “Black Truffle,” and “Sandalwood.” But there are also a few newbies making an appearance.
All-in-all, the “Rose Gold Palette Remastered” is versatile and a huge winner for me!
Holistic beauty trends are more prevalent than ever — that makes ayurvedic beauty brands incredibly sought-after, as well. Do you find yourself asking what your beauty products are actually made of? A lot of us even resort to food products for a skincare routine such as honey for face wash.
The term “Ayurvedic Beauty” is getting more recognition outside the South Asian world as well.
