Anish Kumar (he/him) is a queer South-Asian American currently living and studying medicine in NYC, where he is constantly in search of the city’s best sesame bagel. He loves to read, climb, photograph, and perfect his homemade ravioli recipe. He spent many years in Pittsburgh where he helped start a group called “Rangoli Pittsburgh'” which worked to build LGBTQ+ South Asian community in the area and published an anthology of expressive pieces from LGBTQ+ South Asians. His piece, titled “Durga’s Hundi,” was also published on the Aerogram. He is interested in joining the “Brown boy” team and contributing to the wonderful work at BGM.
