Iman Saleem

Iman Saleem is a writer and aspiring journalist from Colombo, Sri Lanka. She is a recent graduate from the University of Kent, Canterbury, where she studied Drama and English & American Literature and insisted on quoting Edward Said in every single one of her essays. She enjoys reading and writing about topics such as the ever-present psychological effects of colonialism on young brown women, and the many, many ways in which mainstream media has failed Muslims, but also about which one of Poo’s looks from K3G is her favourite and why. Find her on Instagram (@imansaleeem), posing with her mouth open in a manner she assumes is sexy (it isn’t).
