Asha Rao
Dr. Asha Rao is an Early Intervention Occupational Therapist (OT) practicing in the northern suburbs of IL. She completed her MSOT at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). Asha is now working towards completing her clinical doctorate focused on OTs role in supporting women and parents who experienced perinatal loss. Asha offers a unique experiences and narratives related to her background as a South Indian American. Her content typically relates to parenting & the experiences of children of immigrants, occupational therapy and disability, mental health and overall well-being across the lifespan with underlying themes of inclusivity and diversity.
